Hey Sweethearts✿>>Let's start the chapter three. 🌚___________________________
Vansh's Pov:
The sun was beginning to set, casting long, bloody shadows across the meeting room. Vaani was seated at the head of the table, looking every bit the cold heiress she was, while I stood behind her-a silent, watchful predator in a suit.
The meeting ended, and the investors began to filter out one by one. But one man stayed behind. Mr. Deewan. I never liked the way he looked at her, and today was no different. He walked up to Vaani, his eyes crawling over her body in a way that made my blood boil.
"So, Ms. Vaani... jaise-jaise aap jawaan hoti ja rahi hain, aapki hotness badhti hi ja rahi hai," he whispered, a sleazy smirk on his face. "Kya iski koi khaas wajah hai?"
Abe jaa na... I thought, my jaw tightening until it hurt. Wo hot ho rahi hai toh tujhe kyun mirchi lag rahi hai?
I expected Vaani to shut him down, but she did the opposite. She stood up, tilted her head, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Mr. Deewan... ye toh Vaani ka jaadu hai. Sach kahun? Agar aap aur zyada invest karenge, toh main aur zyada hot banti jaungi."
Seriously? She was throwing petrol on my burning emotions. She knew I was standing right there. She knew I was watching.
Deewan's eyes darkened with lust. He grabbed her hand, his grubby fingers wrapping around her delicate skin.
Behind my back, my fists clenched so hard my knuckles turned white. He leaned in and kissed the back of her hand.
"Agar tum chaho, toh main aur invest karne ko ready hoon... par badle mein mujhe bhi kuch chahiye," he murmured, his voice dripping with filth.
My soul felt like it was on fire. I wanted to pull out my gun and empty a magazine into his skull right then and there. How dare he touch what's mine to guard? How dare he look at her like she was a piece of meat?
Then, the bastard looked at me. "Hey you... tumhe privacy ka matlab pata hai? Bahar jao."
I didn't move. I looked at Vaani, waiting for her to tell him to back off. But she gave me a side glance-cold and dismissive.
"Jao Vansh. Main kuch der mein aati hoon."
My anger hit the ceiling. "Ma'am, ghar jaana hai. Late night hone wali hai," I said, my voice vibrating with suppressed rage.
Vaani's eyes narrowed, flashing with authority. "It's my order. Get out of here. Aur haan, hume Viewmoon Hotel jaana hai, mere ek friend ka birthday hai. So go, get the car ready."
I had no choice. She had given a direct order in front of an outsider. I turned on my heel and marched out of the cabin, the sound of Deewan's oily chuckle following me.
The moment the door closed, I slammed my fist into the hallway wall. The impact sent a jolt of pain up my arm, but it was nothing compared to the storm inside me.
Don't do it, Vaani. Don't let him touch you. I leaned my forehead against the cold wall, my breathing heavy. Agar usne tumhare jism ke kisi aur hisse ko chhua toh kasam khata hoon... zinda jala dunga us saale ko. ☠️🔥

Vaani's Pov:
The moment Vansh stepped out, my smile vanished. I looked at the motherf*cker standing in front of me, his eyes devouring me with pure lust.
I knew exactly what was going on in Vansh's head-because I was feeling the same rage. I wanted to pin this bastard to the table and run a knife across his throat right here.
The audacity of this man. To look at Vaani Singh Gupta with such filthy eyes-the eyes I only ever want to see on Vansh.
He stepped closer, his hand sliding around my waist, pinning me against the edge of the conference table. He dared to lift my thigh, his palm gripping me. My blood turned to ice. As he leaned in, his breath stinking of greed, I placed a finger on his lips, stopping him just inches away.
"Mr. Deewan... aapko nahi lagta aap thodi jaldbazi kar rahe hain?" I whispered, my voice a dangerous silk.
He gave me a nauseating smirk. "Kaisi jaldbazi, Ms. Vaani? This is the time. I want to go inside you."
Internal screams of disgust were boiling inside me. I looked at the glass on the table, imagining it shattering against his skull. But I played the game. I pushed him back gently and let out a low, husky laugh.
"Aise kaise? Ek hath dijiye, doosre hath lijiye. Jis din aapka investment double hoga... main khud aapke flat pe aaungi."
I reached into his pocket, pulled out his handkerchief, and pressed my lips against it, leaving a bold, scarlet lipstick mark. I pressed the cloth into his hand with a wink and walked out before he could even blink.
When I stepped into the parking lot, Vansh wasn't standing by the door. He was leaning against the bonnet, his body rigid like a statue about to explode.
"Vansh... car kholo," I commanded.
He looked at me-no, he pierced through me with his gaze. He walked over and opened the door, and the moment I sat down, he slammed it shut with such force that the entire car shook.
Gusse mein hai... boht zyada gusse mein hai.
I pulled down the vanity mirror to fix my hair and caught my reflection. My lipstick was slightly smudged from the handkerchief stunt. A slow, wicked smirk spread across my face.
Oh... toh is wajah se iska gussa itna badh gaya.
I leaned back, enjoying the tension thick enough to choke on. Tadpo Vansh... tadpo. Jaise main tumhe dekh ke tadpti hoon par paa nahi paati, waise hi tum bhi mere liye is aag mein jalo. ☠️

Vansh's Pov:
Vaani sat beside me, calmly fixing her lipstick as if she hadn't just come out of a den with that filth, Deewan. Inside me, embers of pure rage were turning into a forest fire. How dare he touch her? I'd deal with his arrogance later, but right now, my focus was on the woman who was testing every ounce of my restraint.
I pushed the car's speed, the engine roaring as it tore through the wind. Vaani looked completely unbothered, her gaze fixed outside the window.
Suddenly, a streak of lightning ripped across the sky-a flash so bright it turned the night into day for a split second.
I glanced at her sideways. "Are you sure Viewmoon Hotel jaana hai? Wo bhi is kadakti baarish mein?"
She didn't even look at me, busy examining her nails. "Yeah, I'm sure. Aandhi aaye ya toofaan... Vaani Gupta kisi ke liye apna decision nahi badalti."
Decision nahi badalti, huh? I knew exactly what she had been up to with Deewan. Instead of breaking his face, she was in there entertaining him.
I tightened my grip on the steering wheel. Theek hai... main bhi dekhta hoon tum hotel kaise pahunchti ho.
Within minutes, the rain turned into a torrential downpour. The visibility was near zero, and the deserted road felt like a trap. I saw my chance. I forced the car to jerk violently, making it sound like the engine was dying. I pulled over to the side of the dark, lonely road and killed the ignition.
"Kya hua?" she snapped, looking annoyed.
"Gaadi kharab ho gayi," I replied flatly, not looking at her.
"Toh jaake check karo! Mujhe jaldi pahunchna hai!"
"Itni tez baarish hai, main bahar nahi utarne wala," I retorted.
Her temper flared instantly. "Bhul rahe ho kya? Tum mere bodyguard ho!"
"Bodyguard hoon par insaan hoon. Kuch der baithe rahiye, baarish kam hote hi check kar lunga," I said calmly.
She sat back, huffing in frustration. Her cheeks were flushed red with anger, making her look dangerously attractive in the dim light of the dashboard. 🌚
But she was Vaani Gupta. She didn't wait. She shoved her door open and stepped out into the rain. I shouted after her, "Aap kya kar rahi hain?" but she ignored me, marching to the front to pull up the bonnet.
Damn it... she is so stubborn.
I stepped out after her, getting drenched in seconds. When I reached her, my breath hitched.
The rain had turned her baby-blue dress translucent, clinging to her curves like a second skin-revealing everything that should have stayed hidden. Her wet hair framed her face, dripping with a lethal kind of sex appeal.
She was leaning over, trying to check the engine. I stepped closer and grabbed her hands. "Ma'am, kya kar rahi hain?"
She jerked her hands away, shouting over the thunder. "Kyun aaye ab? Tumne toh mana kiya tha na!"
I was losing my cool. "Ma'am, aap samajhti kyun nahi? Baarish tez hai, bijliyan kadak rahi hain! Is time bahar nikalna safe nahi hai. Aap car mein baithiye, main check karta hoon!"
She refused to budge, turning back to the car. This time, I didn't ask. I grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the passenger side. I opened the door, but she slammed it shut before I could shove her in. I lost it. I pinned her against the door, our bodies crashing together, soaked and shivering.
"Chahti kya hain aap?" I hissed, my teeth clenched.
She looked into my eyes, her breath coming in short gasps. Finally, she whispered, "Mujhe hotel pahunchna hai."
I closed my eyes, admitting defeat against her sheer stubbornness. "Fine... baithiye, main dekhta hoon."
She climbed inside, finally quiet. I stood in front of the car for a moment, letting the cold rain wash over my heated skin. I slammed the bonnet shut, got into the driver's seat, and started the car. The game has only just begun, Vaani.

AUTHOR'S POV:
Despite the torrential rain and the unspoken war between them, Vansh and Vaani finally arrived at the Viewmoon Hotel. As they stepped into the grand lobby, soaked to the bone, the atmosphere shifted instantly. Every head turned.
Vaani looked like a siren in her drenched blue dress, the fabric clinging dangerously to her curves. Beside her, Vansh was a sight of raw, masculine power-his wet white shirt transparent enough to show the hard ridges of his muscles. They looked lethal, like two beautiful disasters walking side by side.
Men were tripping over themselves to get a glimpse of Vaani, but it was the women whose breaths hitched at the sight of Vansh.
"Damn, this man..." a girl whispered to her friend as they passed. "For one night, I want his manhood." 🫦
The words reached Vaani's ears. She stopped in her tracks, her eyes snapping toward the girl with a gaze so cold it could draw blood. The girl paled, assuming Vansh was her boyfriend, and quickly looked away. Vaani didn't say a word, but her jaw tightened as she continued walking toward the elevator.
They stepped inside the lift. The destination: the 8th floor.
The elevator began its ascent, the hum of the machine the only sound between them. Suddenly, as if fate had its own plans, the lights flickered violently and died. The lift was plunged into darkness, illuminated only by the faint circular glow of the floor buttons.
The lift was still moving, but the silence was now heavy and suffocating.
Vansh felt a sudden pressure on his chest. It was Vaani's hand, trembling slightly.
A smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth in the dark. The lioness, who could eat anyone alive, was afraid of the dark. But as long as Vansh was there, who did she have to fear?
He didn't hesitate. He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her flush against his hard, wet body.
Vaani didn't resist. Instead, she buried her face in the crook of his neck, her hot, frantic breaths fanning against his skin.
Vansh's grip tightened, his fingers digging into her soft waist. Vaani's hands slid up, locking behind his neck.
Her full breasts were crushed against his solid chest, the thin, wet fabric of their clothes offering no protection from the heat of their bodies.
In the shadows, Vaani began to search for his lips. Her control was shattering. Vansh's manhood turned painfully tight as her hands moved to his face, her thumbs grazing his jaw. She was inches away, her lips almost brushing his-when the bell chimed.
The doors slid open.
Reality crashed back in. They broke apart instantly, the sudden light from the hallway blinding them. Without looking at him, Vaani straightened her dress and stormed out of the lift.
The party was nearly over; they were late. But her friend, the birthday boy, was still there, sitting with a few guys and a crate of beer.
"Happy Birthday dude!" Vaani said, walking up to him.
The guy grinned, stood up, and pulled her into a tight hug. Vansh, who was still trying to steady his own racing heart, watched as the guy's hands touched her damp skin. His eyes narrowed into slits.
Is ladki ke female friends kyun nahi hain? Hamesha awaron ke sath ghumti rehti hai...
The guy offered Vaani a beer bottle. Without a second thought, she pressed it to her lips and took a long swig. As the group began to laugh and drift into their own world, Vansh took a seat at a side table, his dark gaze fixed on her every move.
The night was far from over.

Vansh's Pov:
I was on the phone with Vardaan Sir, standing a few feet away from the chaos of the party. It felt strange-almost like a conversation between a future father-in-law and his son-in-law.
"Vansh, dhyan rakhna uska. Use zyada drink mat karne dena, nasha bahut jaldi chadhta hai use," Vardaan Sir's voice was full of concern.
I looked over at Vaani. She was already swaying, laughing mindlessly with those idiots. "Ji Sir, main hoon uske sath. Baarish bahut tez hai toh aaj raat hum hotel mein hi rukenge. Kal subah pehle hum mansion pahunch jayenge," I assured him.
Pahunch toh jayenge, par is nashedi ke saath raat bitana mere liye kisi imtehan se kam nahi hoga, I thought as I hung up.
I marched into the circle of her friends, grabbed her arm, and pulled her out. She started throwing a tantrum, mumbling about the music, but I wasn't in the mood for games.
In one swift motion, I hoisted her over my shoulder like a sack of gold. Ignoring her protests, I took the keys from the floor receptionist and headed straight for the room I had booked.
The moment we entered, I dropped her onto the large bed. She bounced slightly, looking at me with blurry, intoxicated eyes.
I raided the wardrobe and found what the hotel provided for "unplanned" stays.
A male night suit for me, and for her... a maroon silk nighty. It was dangerously short-one side reaching her mid-thigh while the other curved up even higher. You know the type. The kind that leaves nothing to the imagination.
I tossed the silk toward her. "Change kar lijiye... warna kal raat ki tarah phir se mujhe hi badalna hoga."
Vaani smirked, her gaze heavy and dark. She threw the nighty back at my face. "So just do that, Vansh. Who's stopping you?"
My heart hammered against my ribs. My ears were practically ringing. Without a word, I flicked the lights off, plunging the room into a deep, heavy darkness. I moved toward her, sensing her sitting on the edge of the bed with her eyes closed, waiting.
I pulled her into my arms, feeling the damp fabric of her dress. I reached for the zip at her back and slid it down slowly. The sound of the metal sliding felt deafening in the silence. I let the dress fall off her shoulders, pooling at her feet.
Then, my fingers found the hooks of her bra. I unlocked them with practiced ease and tossed it aside. I lifted her arms, sliding the cool maroon silk over her heated skin. Even in this cold night, her body was radiating a feverish warmth that was threatening to burn my restraint.
I laid her back on the pillows. Reaching under the silk, I pulled away her wet lace panty and tossed it toward the corner.
She was finally in bed, safe and dry. I covered her with the heavy duvet, my hands lingering on her for a second longer than necessary. Picking up my own clothes, I walked toward the bathroom to change.
The night was quiet, but the storm inside me had only just begun. ☠️🫦
